How is the Classroom Setup and Why?
There Areas for Practical Living, Sensorial, Languages, Mathematics, and Culture.  Practical life exercises are important as activities for the integration of the human personality.  Through these every day tasks, the child works to construct and perfect himself and organizes his intellectual abilities through activities with an intelligent purpose.  The quality of the child's knowledge depends directly on the quality of his sensorial experiences.  Sensorial apparatus includes material for all five senses:  vision, tactile, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, and the sterognostic sense, which is a combined sense of form, texture, dimension and temperature.  Language is a sensitive period where the child learns with ease and excitement, effortlessly and totally.  Montessori uses the phonetic approach:  learning by sound and sound combinations.  The child experiencesan explosion into reading.  Even the smallest child has the gift of the mathematical mind.  The child ahas a human tendecy for order and exactness and the mathematical mind is based on order and exactness.  In the chidren's house, we introduce the child to all aspects of the world.  Culture is not something to study; it's all around us.  We give children an ever deepening understanding of the created order.  In geography, the child forms his perception of himself in space.  In science, through zoology and botany, the child interacts with the natural world.

How are Catholic values incorporated?
