DARE

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department provides the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program for our 5th grade students. This nine-week program addresses critical issues of drugs. Students who successfully complete the course earn the right to participate in the D.A.R.E. graduation ceremony.  In this course, Deputy Friendly teaches pedestrian safety, school bus safety, gun safety, and stranger danger.

Safety Patrol
Students in fifth grade are invited to take part is this leadership role.  It allows them the opportunity to monitor parking lot safety during drop off and pick up times.  They help insure the safety of their fellow students while under the supervision of staff monitors.  Students must continually earn this privilege.
