Overview
      During the 53 years of rich athletic history at St. Joseph High School, many outstanding athletes, coaches and supporters have left their mark on the course, field, court, mat or track as a St. Joseph Lancer.  The St. Joseph Lancer Athletic Hall of Fame was created in 1995 to honor the achievements of these individuals and teams. Over 110 athletes, coaches and supporters along with six state championship teams have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. This annual eventwill celebrate its 17th year as it inducts a new class in the fall of 2011.

      The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held at St. Joseph Catholic Academy will be open to the public.  Each inductee will receive a personal award and a permanent one will be displayed at the school.


Who is Selected
      All St. Joseph male and female athletes are eligible for selection into the Hall of Fame six years after graduation. Male and female coaches not presently coaching at the school who have made major contributions to the athletic programs will also be recognized. Supporters who have made a significant impact on St. Joseph athletics will be honored as well. The nominee, during and following his/her career, must have exemplified the pride and spirit that best represents St. Joseph athletics.


Nominations
      Nominations are made by alumni, current coaches, the Hall of Fame selection committee and the community at large.  Future nominations can be sent any time during the year to: St. Joseph Catholic Academy, Athletic Hall of Fame, 2401 69th St., Kenosha, WI  53143. The deadline for nominations for 2011 was February 1st and will be February 1st of succeeding years.  The selection committee will make its decision and notify those chosen in May of each year.
