At A Glance

Enrollment
SJCA enrolls over 771 students in grades Preschool through 12.  We are supported by all of the Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie parishes.  Our student body includes families from Kenosha County, Racine County, Milwaukee County, and Illinois.

Accreditation
SJCA is accredited through June 30, 2014 by Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation (WRISA).

Montessori Preschool
The preschool is the only Catholic Montessori preschool in Wisconsin and is run by a certified American Montessori Internationale (AMI) instructor.

    Test Scores

    2011 ACT Averages:  top 10% scored 32.2, top 20% scored 30.1, and top 30% scored 29.6, all significantly above local, state and national averages.

    Faculty
    All instructors are certified and 18 hold advanced degrees.  95% of the entire faculty are practicing Catholics.

    Financial Aid
    There are multiple opportunities to receive financial aid

    Advanced Placement
    Along with many Honors classes, eight High School Advanced Placement (AP) classes are offered.  AP classes help students acquire skills that will help them be successful in college.

    Technology
    The integration of technology teaches students how to acquire information, communicate, and learn effectively in a technologically demanding world.  

    Faith Formation
    The Campus Ministry program is for all levels and seeks to supplement and aid the spiritual and theological development in each students that takes place in the home and church.  This is done through Worship, Relationship and Service. 

    Campus & Facilities
    We are located in 2 buildings, Lower Campus (Preschool - 5) at 14th Ave. and the Upper Campus (6 - 12) at 69th St.  They are within walking distance of each other.  Both facilities have a gym, stage area and lunch room.  All school masses are held at St. Mark Church or in the Upper Campus Auditorium.  

    Busing
    Kenosha and Illinois Busing is currently available for qualifying Middle and High School students.
