Scholarships

ALDO & THOMASINA MADRIGRANO SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For Incoming 9th graders
  • The scholarship will be awarded to an 8th-grade student entering St. Joseph Catholic Academy for 9th grade. The purpose of this scholarship is to award a student who has demonstrated academics and/or church and/or community leadership skills.  The scholarship will be awarded for one year each fall term and applied to the tuition of that student.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For incoming 9th-12th graders
  • The St. Joseph Alumni Association Scholarship is given to students who will be or are attending St. Joseph Catholic Academy for grades 9 through 12.  Special consideration will be given to students who have a relative who is an alumnus of St. Joseph. The Alumni Association will fund four $750 scholarships per year.

CHESTER & MARY RICHIE SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For incoming 9th graders
  • The Chester & Mary Richie Scholarship was created to support continued Catholic education at St. Joseph Catholic Academy and to provide scholarships to worthy students.  Each year the scholarship committee will award at least one $500 scholarship to an incoming 9th-grade student. The scholarship awarded by the committee is for one year and renewable for up to three additional years while the recipient attends St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

ELLEN ROSE SANTARELLI SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For incoming 11th graders
  • The Ellen Rose Santarelli Memorial Scholarship was created to honor Ellen’s years of dedication as a teacher and coach at St. Joseph High School.  This scholarship of $2,400 will be awarded annually to a deserving female student who is returning to St. Joseph Catholic Academy for her junior year.  The money will be applied towards the winner’s high school tuition at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

FOR PETE’S SAKE SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For incoming 9th grader
  • The For Pete’s Sake/Peter Francois Scholarship is a $2000 renewable scholarship awarded to students who are entering the 9th grade at SJCA. The student will be from Catholic schools that have demonstrated a commitment to their school, church and/or community.

FRIENDS OF THE PERFORMING ARTS (FOPA) SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE MARCH 24
  • For incoming 9th-12th graders
  • The Friends of the Performing Arts (FOPA) Scholarship is open for incoming 9-12 grade students who are enthusiastic about the performing arts (acting, singing, instrument, band, music etc).  Student's must audition in order to be considered for a scholarship.  FOPA will fund four $500 scholarships per year.  Important note: student must provide own accompaniment (person or electronic).

HOLY ROSARY TUITION ASSISTANCE

  • DUE APRIL 25.
  • Tuition assistance offered is for members of HOLY ROSARY PARISH. Families requesting aid for more than one child attending Kenosha Catholic Schools need to list each child individually to be considered.  Kenosha Catholic Educational Institutions considered for tuition assistance include All Saints Catholic School and St. Joseph Catholic Academy.  Special consideration may be given to other Catholic institutions upon request.

CATHOLIC WOMAN'S CLUB of KENOSHA SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE MARCH 1.
  • For incoming 9th graders
  • The 2017 Catholic Woman's Club (CWC) Scholarship Award will be awarded to three 8th grade students from All Saints Catholic School or St. Joseph Catholic Academy who will be entering St. Joseph Catholic Academy for 9th grade.  Students must excel academically and/or demonstrate outstanding leadership ability in school, church or community.  The scholarships will be for $1000 each.

JACK BALDWIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 30
  • For incoming 11th grade (male student)
  • The Jack Baldwin Memorial Scholarship was created to honor Jack's years at St. Joseph High School. This scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually to a deserving male student who is returning to St. Joseph Catholic Academy for his junior year. The money will be applied towards the winner’s high school tuition at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

KOZAK ORTHODONTICS SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For incoming 9th graders
  • This scholarship is for 8th grade graduating students who will be registered to attend SJCA for their freshman year. The Kozak Orthodontics Scholarship will award up to two (2) $500 scholarships. The money will be applied towards the winner’s tuition at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

THE MADDEN FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE MAY 1.
  • The Madden Family Scholarship was created to honor the legacy of students excelling in multiple facets of their lives. This scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually to a deserving current SJCA female or male student who is returning to St. Joseph Catholic Academy for his/her senior year. The money will be applied towards the winner’s high school tuition at St. Joseph Catholic Academy for the 2017-18 school year.

MARILYN PIGNOTTI SCHOLARSHIP 

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For incoming 9th graders
  • The Marilyn Pignotti Scholarship is to be awarded to a student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills in academics, church and/or community. 
  • The Pignotti Scholarship will award up to two (2) $500 scholarships.

MICHAEL J. NAIDICZ SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For incoming 9th graders
  • The Michael J. Naidicz Foundation, Ltd, was created to support continued Catholic education at St. Joseph Catholic Academy and to provide scholarships to worthy students.  Each year the foundation will award one to three scholarships to incoming 9th-grade students.  The scholarship(s) award by the Foundation is for one year, renewable for three additional years while the recipient attends the high school program at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

MILWAUKEE ARCHDIOCESAN COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN

  • DUE MARCH 15.
  • For incoming 9th grade female students
  • The Milwaukee Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women will award one John and Kathleen Schneider Family Foundation Scholarship of $ 1000 at the banquet at their annual Convention on April 17th at the Archbishop Cousins Catholic Center. The award will be made to an 8th-grade girl who is registered at a Catholic High School in the Milwaukee Archdiocese for the 2017-18 school year.

NAVY CLUB SHIP 40 SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 28
  • For current 9th and 10th graders who will be enrolled at SJCA for the 2017-18 school year entering 10th or 11th grade.
  • The Navy Club Ship 40 members will award three scholarships based on a short essay.  The winner will be announced at the SJCA awards ceremony in May.

SISTER GERTRUDE WISSING MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.

  • For incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

  • The Sister Gertrude Wissing Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of Sister Gertrude for the many years of servitude she gave to St. Mark Catholic School and St. Joseph High School as an educator and administrator.   This scholarship will be given to students who have demonstrated leadership ability in school, church, community or extracurricular activities.  The Sister Gertrude Scholarship Memorial Scholarship fund will award up to three (3) $500 scholarships annually:  one for an incoming 6th grader, 7th grader, and 8th grader.  The money will be applied to the student’s tuition at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

INTRODUCING THE SISTER SYLVIA MIDDLE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP
  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For Incoming Middle School Students
  • Recognizing that the cost of a high-quality, faith-based education may be prohibitive for many families, even those who earn an average or above average income, St. Joseph Catholic Academy has created the Sister Sylvia Middle School Scholarship.  Based on family income, the Sister Sylvia Middle School Scholarship will allow qualifying families to pay the current SJCA elementary school tuition rate for their middle school years. SISTER VIRGINIA HANDRUP SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE April 15.
  • For incoming 11th grade female.
  • The Sister Virginia Handrup Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 will be awarded annually to a deserving female student who is returning to St. Joseph Catholic Academy for her junior year.

SJCA SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For incoming 9th graders
  • The SJCA Service Scholarship is a $1000 renewable scholarship awarded to a deserving student who is entering 9th grade at St. Joseph Catholic Academy. Student must create a service project for the benefit of the St. Joseph Catholic Academy community, the local community or our global community which will be implemented during the 2017-18 calendar school year.

ST. MARK SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 15.
  • For incoming K-12 students
  • St. Mark Parish recognizes the value of a Catholic education and wishes to extend five annual scholarships totaling $5,000 for deserving students from the Parish to attend St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

ST. MARY SCHOLARSHIP

  • DUE APRIL 7.
  • For incoming 9th graders
  • St. Mary Parish offers a scholarship to support a worthy student’s continued Catholic education at St. Joseph Catholic Academy High School. The Parish will award one $500.00 scholarship to each of the selected incoming 9th-grade students. The scholarships awarded by the Parish are a one-time payment to the school on behalf of the students.

    Upper Campus Laptop Pick Up

    Students will need to have their school ID taken, drop off their forms, and pick up their laptop. If a student cannot make it on their assigned date, please contact the main office to make arrangements at (262) 654-8651. All family financial obligations will need to be fulfilled prior to receiving a laptop.
