INTRODUCING THE SR. SYLVIA MIDDLE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP

Recognizing that the cost of a high-quality, faith-based education may be prohibitive for many families, even those who earn an average or above average income, St. Joseph Catholic Academy has created the Sister Sylvia Middle School Scholarship.  Based on family income, the Sister Sylvia Middle School Scholarship will allow qualifying families to pay the current SJCA elementary school tuition rate for their middle school years.

As a long-time, wholly-dedicated member of the St. Joseph community, tirelessly committed to Catholic education and faith formation, Sister Sylvia not only represents the heritage of SJCA but also embodies the essence of Catholic education. SJCA is pleased to honor Sister Sylvia Leonardi by creating this scholarship in her name.

Requirements for this scholarship are below:

  1. The applicant must be an incoming 5 - 8th grade student for the 2017-2018 school year.
  2. The family must complete a financial aid application or be income qualified for the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program.
  3. The applicant's family income must fall within the specific amount. Click here to view the income parameters.
  4. The student applicant must submit an essay (no more than 300 words) on "What an SJCA education means to me."

Please return this scholarship application, along with the required essay to Wanda Jaraczewski, Director of Student Success, at St. Joseph Catholic Academy by April 15, 2017 at the address below:
