Financial Aid

St. Joseph Catholic Academy realizes that a private, Catholic education is a significant investment for families.  We are committed to making an SJCA education affordable to all qualified students to the extent that our resources allow.

Financial aid is awarded to students at all grade levels and is decided on the basis of need and availability of funds. FACTS is the 3rd party organization that analyzes each financial application.  FACTS applications are available by clicking here.  Applications are due by March 31, 2017.  The factors used to determine aid are household income from your 2016 Federal Income Tax return, assets, family size and expenses, and private education expenses. Award notification letters will be mailed to all applicants by approximately May 31, 2017.

SJCA awards about $400,000 in tuition assistance annually - approximately $200,000 in need-based assistance and $200,000 in scholarships funded by generous donors.  Click here for the scholarship page.

The Earn to Learn program is intended to fill the gap between the need-based financial aid awards and the  cost of tuition and fees.  The program provides an additional opportunity for families to reduce tuition costs by assisting the St. Joseph Catholic Academy by performing tasks we would otherwise have to contract.

The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) is a state-sponsored program that provides a voucher to qualified, low-income families so that their children can attend a WPCP registered school.  Click here to learn more about this program.

For questions, contact Jean Fredrickson, Director of Finance, at or (262) 654-8651 ext. 116.  Those who have received financial aid in the past must also complete the FACTS application for the coming year.  Financial aid awards are not automatically renewable.
